I’ve had a life-long interest in photography. In 1998 I made a transition from traditional film photography to digital. Digital photography has increased my personal enjoyment of a hobby that has become my focused second career. I keep the spirit and intent of photography pure while enjoying the creative flexibility technology can bring to the photographic process.
Since beginning my budding fine art photography career I’ve been honored to participate in juried art shows. In addition, I’ve become a frequent contributor of photographs to the local news outlets; and I’ve been privileged to have my art on display in Lexington, Virginia, Salisbury, Maryland, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Rio Rancho New Mexico and Edgewood New Mexico.
Living in New Mexico and traveling through the United States, I find myself intrigued with nature. The sunrises, sunsets, wildlife and ever-changing weather provide inspiration for my photographic pursuits. Whether it is capturing macro images of butterflies, telephoto images of birds or wide angle images of landscapes, I find the digital photography experience liberating. To quote Ansel Adams “There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer.” When viewing my art I hope you enjoy what you see.
